Frequently Asked Questions

What are the rental hours?

Our standard rental times are half-day (8:00 AM to 12:00 PM or 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM) and full-day (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM). Extended hours may be available upon request.

Do I need a boater education card?

Missouri requires anyone born after January 1, 1984 to have a Boater Education Card to operate a motorboat. You can complete the course online through the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

What is included with the rental?

Every rental includes a full tank of gas, life jackets for all passengers, a Bluetooth speaker, and a safety briefing. Water sports add-ons (tubes, skis, wakeboards, lily pads, water saddles) are available for an additional fee.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations made 48 hours or more before your rental receive a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable. Weather-related cancellations are rescheduled at no charge.

How many people can fit on a boat?

Our Viaggio Lago X tritoon boats have a maximum capacity of 12 passengers. For the best experience, we recommend 8-10 guests.

Where do we pick up the boat?

All rentals depart from our marina at Lake of the Ozarks. Exact address and dock instructions are provided in your confirmation email.

Can I bring food and drinks on the boat?

Yes. You are welcome to bring your own food, drinks, and coolers. We ask that you remove all trash at the end of your rental.

What happens if the weather is bad?

If severe weather makes boating unsafe, we will reschedule your rental at no additional cost. Light rain does not qualify for a weather cancellation.

Are all of your boats the same?

Yes. Our entire fleet is the Viaggio Lago X 24' tritoon, so every reservation is the same well-maintained, fully equipped boat. There is no guessing which boat you will get or how it will handle.

Is a tritoon easy to drive if I am new to boating?

Very. A tritoon has three pontoon tubes, which makes it one of the most stable and forgiving boats on the lake. After a hands-on safety and operation briefing, most first-time renters feel comfortable at the helm. Missouri boater education requirements still apply.

Do we drive the boat ourselves, or is there a captain?

Our rentals are self-operated, so you drive the boat yourself after we walk you through a hands-on safety and operation briefing. Please review the Missouri boater education requirement above before your rental.

Can we pull tubes, water skis, or wakeboards?

Yes. The tritoon has the stability and power for watersports, and tubes, water skis, and wakeboards are available as add-ons you can book with your reservation.

What should we bring for our day on the lake?

Bring sunscreen, towels, swimwear, and any food or drinks you would like. We provide the boat with a full tank of fuel, life jackets for everyone aboard, a Bluetooth speaker, and your safety briefing.
